  1  1    Amend House File 2514 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 10 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  Section 321.473, unnumbered paragraph
  1  5 3, Code 1997, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    Any person who violates the provisions of the
  1  7 ordinance, or resolution, or special permit issued by
  1  8 the department under this section shall, upon
  1  9 conviction or a plea of guilty, be subject to a fine
  1 10 determined by dividing the difference between the
  1 11 actual weight and the maximum weight established by
  1 12 the ordinance, or resolution, or special permit issued
  1 13 by the department by one hundred, and multiplying the
  1 14 quotient by two dollars."
