1 2 #1. Page 35, by inserting after line 24 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "4. The department shall conduct random
1 5 inspections of animal feeding operations, including
1 6 animal feeding operation structures, unformed manure
1 7 storage structures, and formed manure storage
1 8 structures, as defined in section 455B.161, and manure
1 9 management practices employed by the operation as
1 10 provided in sections 455B.202 and 455B.203B, to ensure
1 11 that such operations comply with all applicable
1 12 requirements of this chapter and rules adopted by the
1 13 department pursuant to this chapter. However, in
1 14 order to access the operation, the departmental
1 15 inspector must comply with standard disease control
1 16 restrictions customarily required by the operation.
1 17 The department shall complete a written report for
1 18 each inspection which shall be available as a public
1 19 record as provided in chapter 22."
