  1  1    Amend House File 733 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 13, by striking lines 31 and 32 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "f.  Conditioned upon the state board of regents
  1  5 allocating funding for building maintenance at the
  1  6 Iowa school for the deaf for the fiscal year beginning
  1  7 July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, in an amount
  1  8 equal to or greater than the amount of funding
  1  9 allocated for that purpose in the previous fiscal
  1 10 year, the following amount, to be used for a visual
  1 11 alert system and to address fire safety deficiencies
  1 12 at the Iowa school for the deaf:"
  1 13    #2.  Page 13, line 33, by striking the figure
  1 14 "50,000" and inserting the following:  "110,000".
  1 15    #3.  Page 13, by striking lines 34 and 35 and
  1 16 inserting the following:
  1 17    "g.  Conditioned upon the state board of regents
  1 18 allocating funding for building maintenance at the
  1 19 Iowa braille and sight saving school for the fiscal
  1 20 year beginning July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998,
  1 21 in an amount equal to or greater than the amount of
  1 22 funding allocated for that purpose in the previous
  1 23 fiscal year, the following amount, to be used for
  1 24 deferred maintenance at the Iowa braille and sight
  1 25 saving school:"
  1 26    #4.  Page 14, line 1, by striking the figure
  1 27 "25,000" and inserting the following:  "95,000".
