  1  1    Amend House File 731 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking page 4, line 29, through page 6,
  1  3 line 18, and inserting the following:  
  1  4                    "LOTTERY TRANSFER
  1  5    Sec.    .  Notwithstanding the requirement in
  1  6 section 99E.10, subsection 1, to transfer lottery
  1  7 revenue remaining after expenses are deducted,
  1  8 notwithstanding the requirement under section 99E.20,
  1  9 subsection 2, for the commissioner to certify and
  1 10 transfer a portion of the lottery fund to the CLEAN
  1 11 fund, and notwithstanding the appropriations and
  1 12 allocations in section 99E.34, all lottery revenues
  1 13 received during the fiscal year beginning July 1,
  1 14 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, after deductions as
  1 15 provided in section 99E.10, subsection 1, and as
  1 16 appropriated under any Act of the Seventy-seventh
  1 17 General Assembly, 1997 Session, shall not be
  1 18 transferred to and deposited into the CLEAN fund but
  1 19 shall be transferred and credited to the general fund
  1 20 of the state."
