1 3 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 5 through 11 and
1 4 inserting the following:
1 5 "1. Certificates of title for snowmobiles and all-
1 6 terrain vehicles shall be obtained from the county
1 7 recorder of the county in which the owner resides."
1 8 #2. Page 1, line 16, by striking the words "The
1 9 application" and inserting the following: "However, a
1 10 snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle owned on December
1 11 31, 1997, and any snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle
1 12 used exclusively as a farm implement are not required
1 13 to be titled until transferred to a new owner or for
1 14 use as other than a farm implement. A snowmobile or
1 15 all-terrain vehicle owned on December 31, 1997, or
1 16 used exclusively as a farm implement may voluntarily
1 17 be titled.
1 18 The application".
1 19 #3. Page 7, by inserting after line 1 the
1 20 following:
1 21 "Two-wheeled off-road motorcycles shall be
1 22 considered all-terrain vehicles only for the purpose
1 23 of titling and registration and not for purposes of
1 24 regulation."
