1 42 "Sec. ___. Section 815.10, subsection 1, Code
1 43 1997, is amended by adding the following new
1 44 unnumbered paragraph:
1 45 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. For purposes of this
1 46 section, a person who is charged with a serious
1 47 misdemeanor offense which is only punishable by the
1 48 imposition of a fine shall not be entitled to legal
1 49 assistance at public expense."
1 50 #11. Page 9, by striking lines 8 through 11 and
2 1 inserting the following: "By".
