  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1472, to Senate File 253, as
  1  2 passed by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 41 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "   .  An animal shelter or pound as defined in
  1  6 section 162.2, if the animal shelter or pound engages
  1  7 a licensed veterinarian or the holder of a temporary
  1  8 permit issued by the board pursuant to section 169.11,
  1  9 in order to practice veterinary medicine at the animal
  1 10 shelter or pound."
  1 11    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
