  1  1    Amend House File 715 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 15, by inserting after line 2 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "   .  Of the funds appropriated in this section,
  1  5 $1,088,839, which is the savings realized under the
  1  6 medical assistance program due to a reduced estimate
  1  7 of the number of bed days utilized by nursing facility
  1  8 residents because of the expansion of case management
  1  9 services, shall be transferred to the department of
  1 10 elder affairs prior to the close of the fiscal year to
  1 11 be used by the department of elder affairs for case
  1 12 management services.  Notwithstanding section 8.33,
  1 13 moneys transferred pursuant to this subsection shall
  1 14 not revert to the general fund of the state at the
  1 15 close of the fiscal year but shall remain available
  1 16 and used for the purpose designated in the succeeding
  1 17 fiscal year."
