  1  1    Amend House File 693 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 1 through 30 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  Section 535.3, subsection 1, Code 1997,
  1  5 is amended by striking the subsection and inserting in
  1  6 lieu thereof the following:
  1  7    1.  Interest shall be allowed on all money due on
  1  8 judgments and decrees of courts at a rate calculated
  1  9 according to section 668.13.
  1 10    Sec. ___.  Section 535.3, subsection 2, Code 1997,
  1 11 is amended by striking the subsection.
  1 12    Sec. ___.  Section 535.3, subsection 3, Code 1997,
  1 13 is amended to read as follows:
  1 14    3.  Interest on periodic payments for child,
  1 15 spousal, or medical support shall not accrue until
  1 16 thirty days after the payment becomes due and owing
  1 17 and shall accrue at a rate of ten percent per annum
  1 18 thereafter."
  1 19    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
