1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Section 1. Section 2.43, Code 1997, is amended by
1 5 adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
1 6 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. The pastor of the day
1 7 for the general assembly shall submit to a drug or
1 8 alcohol test conducted pursuant to the requirements of
1 9 section 730.5, subsections 4 and 6, on the date the
1 10 pastor is the pastor of the day. Failure to submit to
1 11 a drug or alcohol test as required by this section or
1 12 a test indicating the presence of drugs or alcohol
1 13 shall result in the pastor of the day being denied
1 14 compensation for being pastor of the day. The results
1 15 of the drug or alcohol test shall be a public record."
1 16 #2. Title page, line 2, by striking the words
1 17 "employees and prospective" and inserting the
1 18 following: "employees, pastors, and prospective".
1 19 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
