Senate Study Bill 2289

  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  727.12  INVASION OF PRIVACY.
  1  2    A person commits a class "D" felony when the person, having
  1  3 no right or authority to do so, photographs or videotapes, for
  1  4 the personal use of the person making the photograph or
  1  5 videotape, a minor in a nude or semi-nude state without the
  1  6 knowledge of the minor.  For the purposes of this section,
  1  7 "minor" means a person under the age of eighteen.  
  1  8                           EXPLANATION
  1  9    This bill provides that a person who photographs or makes a
  1 10 videotape of a nude or semi-nude juvenile, for the person's
  1 11 own use and without the knowledge of the juvenile being
  1 12 photographed or videotaped, commits a class "D" felony.
