1 1 Section 1. 1991 Iowa Acts, chapter 127, section 2, as
1 2 amended by 1994 Iowa Acts, chapter 1087, section 14, is
1 3 repealed.
1 4 EXPLANATION
1 5 This bill repeals a provision that was enacted in 1991 and
1 6 amended in 1994 which sunsets the 1991 amendments to section
1 7 321.450, by requiring repeal of the amendments on July 1,
1 8 1996. Thus, the effect of this bill is that the 1991
1 9 amendments to section 321.450, which expanded the exemption
1 10 for certain cargo tank motor vehicles from hazardous materials
1 11 transportation regulations regarding tank specifications, will
1 12 not be repealed on July 1, 1996, but shall remain in effect.
