  1  1    Section 1.  Section 481A.122, Code 1995, is amended to read
  1  2 as follows:
  1  3    481A.122  DEER AND PHEASANT HUNTERS' ORANGE APPAREL.
  1  4    A person shall not hunt pheasant or deer with firearms
  1  5 unless the person is at the time wearing one or more of the
  1  6 following articles of visible, external apparel:  A a vest,
  1  7 coat, jacket, sweatshirt, sweater, shirt or coveralls, the
  1  8 color of which shall be solid blaze orange.  
  1  9                           EXPLANATION
  1 10    This bill requires pheasant hunters to wear one or more
  1 11 items of blaze orange visible apparel in the same manner as
  1 12 required for deer hunters.
  1 13    A violator is subject to a scheduled fine of $50.
