1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 668.3A LIABILITY FOR INJURIES TO
1 2 TRESPASSERS.
1 3 Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter or rule
1 4 of common law, a person in possession of, or who owns
1 5 property, shall not be liable for damages to another person
1 6 who is injured while that person is trespassing on the
1 7 property. For the purposes of this section, the terms
1 8 "property" and "trespass" shall have the same meanings as in
1 9 section 716.7.
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill provides that a person who is injured while
1 12 trespassing on another's property shall not be entitled to any
1 13 damages against the person who possesses or owns the property.
