  1  1    Amend House File 2448, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 3 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  692.6A  IMMUNITY –
  1  6 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
  1  7    A cause of action shall not arise against a
  1  8 nonprofit organization for damages caused by an
  1  9 employee or volunteer of the nonprofit organization
  1 10 due to the failure of the nonprofit organization to
  1 11 check the criminal history record of the employee or
  1 12 volunteer prior to hiring the employee or volunteer."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
