  1  1    Amend Senate File 2344 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 14, by inserting after line 19 the
  1  3 following:  
  1  4                   "FEES FOR SERVICES
  1  5    Sec. 100.  Section 252B.4, subsection 6, unnumbered
  1  6 paragraph 1, Code 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    An application fee paid by a recipient of services
  1  8 pursuant to subsection 1 and other fees established
  1  9 pursuant to this section which are paid by a recipient
  1 10 of services, may be recovered by the unit from the
  1 11 person responsible for payment of support and if
  1 12 recovered, shall be used to reimburse the recipient of
  1 13 services.
  1 14    Sec. 101.  Section 252B.4, subsection 6, paragraph
  1 15 e, Code 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1 16    e.  Support payments collected shall not be applied
  1 17 to the recovery of the fee until all other support
  1 18 obligations under the support order being enforced,
  1 19 which have accrued through the end of the current
  1 20 calendar month, have been paid or satisfied in full.
  1 21 Fee payments collected shall not be considered support
  1 22 payments.
  1 23    Sec. 102.  1995 Iowa Acts, chapter 115, section 13,
  1 24 is repealed.
  1 25    Sec. 103.  Section 102 of this Act, which repeals
  1 26 1995 Iowa Acts, chapter 115, section 13, being deemed
  1 27 of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment."
  1 28    #2.  Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
  1 29 word "enforcement" the following:  ", providing an
  1 30 effective date, and providing a repeal".
  1 31    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
