  1  1    Amend Senate File 2415 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 20, by striking the word "Assess"
  1  3 and inserting the following:  "Develop an instrument
  1  4 and procedure for assessing".
  1  5    #2.  Page 2, by striking line 30 and inserting the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "   .  Develop an instrument and procedure for
  1  8 evaluating".
  1  9    #3.  Page 3, line 6, by striking the words
  1 10 "Function as" and inserting the following:  "Promote
  1 11 and aid in the establishment of".
  1 12    #4.  Page 3, by striking lines 28 through 31 and
  1 13 inserting the following:
  1 14    "   .  Cooperate with organizations, colleges,
  1 15 universities, and other research-based institutions to
  1 16 encourage research on environmental education as
  1 17 called for in the state environmental education plan."
  1 18    #5.  Page 5, by striking line 28 and inserting the
  1 19 following:  "2, fifty percent of any funds
  1 20 appropriated by the general assembly for purposes of
  1 21 this section shall be".
  1 22    #6.  Page 5, lines 30 and 31, by striking the words
  1 23 "One million one hundred thousand dollars" and
  1 24 inserting the following:  "The other fifty percent of
  1 25 any funds appropriated by the general assembly for
  1 26 purposes of this section".
  1 27    #7.  By striking page 9, line 22, through page 10,
  1 28 line 4, and inserting the following:
  1 29    "   .  The program shall be administered
  1 30 cooperatively by the department of education and the
  1 31 department of natural resources."
  1 32    #8.  By renumbering, relettering, and redesignating
  1 33 as necessary.
