  1  1    Amend Senate File 2220 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1, the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  7D.36  ANIMAL FEEDING
  1  5 OPERATIONS.
  1  6    The executive council shall annually reimburse each
  1  7 county and city submitting a claim for an amount which
  1  8 equals the total costs incurred by the county or city
  1  9 for regulating animal feeding operations as provided
  1 10 pursuant to sections 331.304, 364.25, 414.23,
  1 11 455B.165, 455B.173, and 455B.201.  Reimbursement shall
  1 12 be made out of any money in the state treasury not
  1 13 otherwise appropriated.  The executive council may
  1 14 prescribe procedures for submitting and approving
  1 15 claims, including verifying that claims are accurate
  1 16 by requiring certification or supporting
  1 17 documentation."
