  1  1    Amend Senate File 2344 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 14, by inserting after line 19, the
  1  3 following:  
  1  4                      "DIVISION IX
  1  5                      LIEN RELEASE
  1  6    Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  252B.5A  LIEN – RELEASE
  1  7 – CASE CLOSURE.
  1  8    At the time of closure of a case for which the
  1  9 child support recovery unit is providing enforcement
  1 10 services pursuant to this chapter, and no later than
  1 11 thirty days following receipt of a written request by
  1 12 an obligor, the child support recovery unit shall
  1 13 acknowledge the closure of the case upon the record of
  1 14 the judgment or by execution of an instrument
  1 15 referring to the judgment, duly acknowledged and filed
  1 16 in the office of the clerk of the district court, in
  1 17 every county where the judgment is a lien."
  1 18    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
