  1  1    Amend Senate File 2135 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 10, by inserting after line 35 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  501.305  MULTIPLE
  1  5 MEMBERSHIP PROHIBITED.
  1  6    A person who is a member owning fifteen percent or
  1  7 more of a cooperative shall not be eligible to be a
  1  8 member of any other cooperative organized under this
  1  9 chapter.  A person violating this section is subject
  1 10 to a civil penalty of not more than one hundred
  1 11 dollars.  The person's membership in a cooperative
  1 12 shall terminate if the person's acquisition of an
  1 13 interest in that cooperative caused the person to be
  1 14 in violation of this section."
