1 1 Amend the House amendment, S-3597, to Senate File
1 2 481, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate,
1 3 as follows:
1 4 #1. Page 12, by inserting after line 19 the
1 5 following:
1 6 "Sec. . Section 22.7, Code 1995, is amended by
1 7 adding the following new subsection:
1 8 NEW SUBSECTION. 33. Personal information
1 9 contained in state department of transportation
1 10 handicapped parking permit records capable of
1 11 disclosure by bulk distribution for purposes of
1 12 surveys, marketing, or solicitations, unless the
1 13 individual who is the subject of the record has been
1 14 given an opportunity by the state department of
1 15 transportation to prohibit the disclosure."
1 16 #2. Page 12, by inserting after line 31 the
1 17 following:
1 18 "Sec. . Section 321.11, Code 1995, is amended
1 19 by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
1 20 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. However, personal
1 21 information contained in department handicapped
1 22 parking permit records may only be disclosed by bulk
1 23 distribution for purposes of surveys, marketing, or
1 24 solicitations, if the individual who is the subject of
1 25 the record has been given an opportunity by the
1 26 department to prohibit the disclosure."
1 27 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
