1 1 Amend Senate File 390, as passed by the Senate, as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the follow-
1 4 ing:
1 5 "Section 1. Section 262.75, Code 1995, is amended
1 6 by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
1 7 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. In lieu of the payment
1 8 of monetary recompense to a cooperating teacher, the
1 9 cooperating teacher may direct that the monetary
1 10 recompense be paid by the institution directly into a
1 11 scholarship fund which has been established jointly by
1 12 the board of directors of the school district that
1 13 employs the teacher and the local teachers'
1 14 association. In such cases, the cooperating teacher
1 15 shall receive neither monetary recompense nor any
1 16 reduction in tuition at the institution."
1 17 #2. Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
1 18 word "to" the following: "recompense to a cooperating
1 19 teacher and to".
1 20 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
