  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-3484, to Senate File 519, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 10 through 27 and
  1  5 inserting the following:  "in chapters 654A and, 654B,
  1  6 and 654C.  The contract shall be awarded to the
  1  7 organization by July 1, 1990.  The contract may be
  1  8 terminated by the coordinator upon written notice and
  1  9 for good cause.  The".
  1 10    #2.  By striking page 1, line 36, through page 2,
  1 11 line 35, and inserting the following:
  1 12    "Sec.    .  Section 13.15, unnumbered paragraph 1,
  1 13 Code 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1 14    The farm mediation service shall recommend rules to
  1 15 the farm assistance program coordinator.  The
  1 16 coordinator shall adopt rules pursuant to chapter 17A
  1 17 to set the compensation of mediators and to implement
  1 18 this subchapter and chapters 654A, and 654B, and
  1 19 654C."
  1 20    #3.  By striking page 4, line 35, through page 6,
  1 21 line 43.
  1 22    #4.  Page 12, by striking lines 15 through 17 and
  1 23 inserting the following:  "department."
  1 24    #5.  Page 15, by inserting before line 28 the
  1 25 following:
  1 26    "#   .  Page 22, line 35, by inserting after the
  1 27 word "association," the following:  "the Iowa
  1 28 environmental council, the Iowa association of soil
  1 29 and water district commissioners,"."
