  1  1    Amend Senate File 466 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 18 the
  1  3 following:  
  1  4                      "DIVISION    
  1  5                 PROPERTY TAX VALUATIONS
  1  6    Sec.    .  Section 441.21, subsection 5, Code 1995,
  1  7 is amended by adding the following new unnumbered
  1  8 paragraph:
  1  9    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  Notwithstanding the
  1 10 computations and limitations in this subsection the
  1 11 percentage of actual value at which residential
  1 12 property shall be assessed for valuations established
  1 13 on or after January 1, 1995, shall not exceed the
  1 14 percentage of actual value at which residential
  1 15 property was assessed for valuations established as of
  1 16 January 1, 1994.
  1 17    Sec.    .  This division of this Act, being deemed
  1 18 of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment."
