1 1 Amend Senate File 459 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 8, by striking lines 10 through 17 and
1 3 inserting the following: "the site of the facility.
1 4 Bonds shall be issued under the provisions of sections
1 5 16.177 and 602.8108A to finance the construction of
1 6 the facility. The cost of constructing the facility,
1 7 exclusive of financing costs, shall not exceed
1 8 $36,000,000.
1 9 4. The department of corrections is authorized to
1 10 construct a residential facility and office in Fort
1 11 Dodge for use by the second judicial district
1 12 department of correctional services. Bonds may be
1 13 issued under the provisions of sections 16.177 and
1 14 602.8108A to finance the construction of the facility.
1 15 The cost of constructing the facility, exclusive of
1 16 financing costs, shall not exceed $1,845,071."
