1 4 "6. For the division of highway safety, uniformed
1 5 force, and radio communications to be used for
1 6 salaries, support, maintenance, and miscellaneous
1 7 purposes, including the state's contribution to the
1 8 peace officers' retirement, accident, and disability
1 9 system provided in chapter 97A in the amount of 18
1 10 percent of the salaries for which the funds are
1 11 appropriated, and for not more than the following
1 12 full-time equivalent positions:

1 15 7. For costs associated with the maintenance of
1 16 the automated fingerprint information system (AFIS):

1 20 enforcement agents, including the state's contribution
1 21 to the peace officers' retirement, accident, and
1 22 disability system provided in chapter 97A in the
1 23 amount of 18 percent of the salaries for which the
1 24 funds are appropriated:
