1 7 #2. Page 4, line 7, by striking the word
1 8 "subsection" and inserting the following:
1 9 "subsections".
1 10 #3. Page 4, by inserting before line 12 the
1 11 following:
1 12 "NEW SUBSECTION. 5. With approval of the board of
1 13 supervisors in counties having a population of one
1 14 hundred thousand or more, the recorder shall serve as
1 15 the county registrar. If the recorder does not serve
1 16 as the county registrar, section 331.602, subsection
1 17 40, section 331.605, subsection 6, and section 331.611
1 18 do not apply to that county."
1 19 #4. Page 4, line 23, by striking the word "The"
1 20 and inserting the following: "If approved by the
1 21 board, the".
1 22 #5. Page 8, line 33, by inserting after the word
1 23 "Act." the following: "This section does not apply to
1 24 counties where the recorder does not serve as county
