  1  1    Amend Senate File 290 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 11, lines 10 through 12, by striking the
  1  3 words "and personalized registration plates issued
  1  4 under section 321.34, subsection 5," and inserting the
  1  5 following:  ", including any plate issued pursuant to
  1  6 section 321.34,".
  1  7    #2.  Page 18, by inserting after line 6 the
  1  8 following:
  1  9    "Sec.    .  APPLICABILITY DATE.  Section 13 of this
  1 10 Act, amending section 321.166, subsection 2, applies
  1 11 only to new registration plates issued to owners on or
  1 12 after January 1, 1997."
  1 13    #3.  Title page, line 10, by striking the words "an
  1 14 effective date" and inserting the following:
  1 15 "effective and applicability dates".
