1 1 Amend Senate File 150 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 16 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. . Section 232.116, subsection 1, Code
1 5 1995, is amended by adding the following new
1 6 paragraph:
1 7 NEW PARAGRAPH. m. The court finds that all of the
1 8 following have occurred:
1 9 (1) The child has been adjudicated a child in need
1 10 of assistance pursuant to section 232.96.
1 11 (2) The parent has been convicted of child
1 12 endangerment resulting in the death of the child's
1 13 sibling, has been convicted of three or more acts of
1 14 child endangerment involving the child, the child's
1 15 sibling, or another child in the household, or has
1 16 been convicted of child endangerment resulting in a
1 17 serious injury to the child, the child's sibling, or
1 18 another child in the household.
1 19 (3) There is clear and convincing evidence that
1 20 the circumstances surrounding the parent's conviction
1 21 for child endangerment would result in a finding of
1 22 imminent danger to the child."
