1 6 #2. Page 4, line 24, by inserting after the word
1 7 "designee" the following: ", or the rental or leasing
1 8 company".
1 9 #3. Page 4, line 26, by inserting after the word
1 10 "immobilization." the following: "Upon learning the
1 11 address or phone number of a rental or leasing company
1 12 which owns a motor vehicle, the peace officer, county
1 13 attorney, or attorney general shall immediately
1 14 contact the company to inform the company that the
1 15 vehicle is available for return to the company."
1 16 #4. Page 4, line 27, by striking the words ", or
1 17 owner's designee," and inserting the following: ",
1 18 owner's designee, or rental or leasing company".
1 19 #5. Page 4, line 33, by inserting after the word
1 20 "intoxicated" the following: ", or if the rental or
1 21 leasing company did not know, should not have known,
1 22 and did not consent to the operation of the motor
1 23 vehicle used in the commission of the offense of
1 24 operating while intoxicated".
