1 4 urging resolution of the Bridgestone/Firestone labor
1 5 dispute through collective bargaining."
1 6 #2. Page 1, by striking lines 20 through 22 and
1 7 inserting the following:
1 8 "WHEREAS, the right to strike is recognized in this
1 9 state as a legitimate means to attempt to resolve
1 10 differences between labor and management through the
1 11 collective bargaining process; and".
1 12 #3. Page 1, line 26, by striking the word "and"
1 13 and inserting the following: "NOW THEREFORE,".
1 14 #4. By striking page 1, line 27 through page 2,
1 15 line 1.
1 16 #5. Page 2, by striking lines 4 through 11 and
1 17 inserting the following: "congressional".
1 18 #6. Page 2, by inserting after line 16 the
1 19 following:
1 20 "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Iowa
1 21 congressional delegation ask for a congressional
1 22 hearing on unfair labor practices."
