1 1 Section 1. Section 422.7, Code Supplement 1995, is amended
1 2 by adding the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 25. Subtract to the extent included,
1 4 active duty pay received by a person in the national guard or
1 5 armed forces military reserve for service performed on or
1 6 after December 1, 1995, pursuant to military orders related to
1 7 peacekeeping in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
1 8 EXPLANATION
1 9 This bill provides an income tax exemption for the active
1 10 duty pay of national guard and armed forces military reserve
1 11 personnel for service performed on or after December 1, 1995,
1 12 pursuant to military orders related to peacekeeping in Bosnia-
1 13 Herzegovina.
