  1  1    Section 1.  Section 159A.3, subsection 4, Code 1995, is
  1  2 amended by striking the subsection.
  1  3    Sec. 2.  Section 159A.3, subsection 5, Code 1995, is
  1  4 amended to read as follows:
  1  5    5.  The office and state entities, including the
  1  6 department, the committee, the Iowa department of economic
  1  7 development, the state department of transportation, the
  1  8 department of natural resources, and the state board of
  1  9 regents institutions, and the Wallace technology transfer
  1 10 foundation of Iowa, shall cooperate to implement this section.
  1 11    Sec. 3.  REPEAL.  Sections 15E.152 through 15E.161, Code
  1 12 1995, are repealed.  
  1 13                           EXPLANATION
  1 14    This bill repeals the enabling provisions regarding the
  1 15 Wallace technology transfer foundation.  The foundation is a
  1 16 quasi-public not-for-profit corporation organized under
  1 17 chapter 504A.
