  1  1    Section 1.  1991 Iowa Acts, chapter 169, section 9, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    SEC. 9.  This Act is repealed effective June 30, 1996 2000.
  1  4    Sec. 2.  This Act, being deemed of immediate importance,
  1  5 takes effect upon enactment.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill amends the section of the 1991 Iowa Acts which
  1  8 provides for the repeal of the prevention of disabilities
  1  9 chapter of the Code, chapter 225B, effective June 30, 1996, by
  1 10 extending the repeal date to June 30, 2000.  The chapter
  1 11 includes establishment of the prevention of disabilities
  1 12 policy council and the technical assistance committee to the
  1 13 council.
  1 14    The bill takes effect upon enactment.
