  1  1    Section 1.  Section 480.4, subsection 1, paragraph b, Code
  1  2 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1  3    b.  The precise location of the proposed area of
  1  4 excavation, including the range, township, section, and
  1  5 quarter section, if known.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill provides that an excavator, prior to excavation,
  1  8 must provide the precise location of the proposed area of the
  1  9 excavation, including the range, township, section, and
  1 10 quarter section, to the notification center established in
  1 11 chapter 480.  Currently, the excavator must only provide this
  1 12 information if it is known by the excavator.
