1 1 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 1
1 2 By Siegrist and Schrader
1 3 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, THE
1 4 SENATE CONCURRING, That a joint convention of the two
1 5 houses of the 1995 session of the Seventy-sixth
1 6 General Assembly be held on Monday, January 9, 1995,
1 7 at 1:30 p.m.; and
1 8 BE IT FURTHUR RESOLVED, That at this joint
1 9 convention the votes for Governor and Lieutenant
1 10 Governor be canvassed and the results announced and
1 11 recorded as provided by law.
1 12 BE IT FURTHUR RESOLVED, That Governor Terry E.
1 13 Branstad be invited to deliver his condition of the
1 14 state and budget messages at a joint convention of the
1 15 two houses of the General Assembly on Tuesday, January
1 16 10, 1995, at 10:00 a.m., and that the Speaker of the
1 17 House of Representatives and the President of the
1 18 Senate be designated to extend the invitation to him.
