1 1 Amend the amendment, H-5890, to House File 2496 as

1 3 #1. Page 1, by striking line 18 and inserting the

1 5 "# . Page 8, by inserting after line 26 the

1 7 "Sec. . Section 445.57, Code 1995, is amended
1 8 to read as follows:
1 9 445.57 MONTHLY APPORTIONMENT.
1 10 On or before the tenth day of each month, the
1 11 county treasurer shall apportion all taxes collected
1 12 during the preceding month, and those taxes collected
1 13 before the first Tuesday of the current month if the
1 14 delinquency date is extended as provided in section
1 15 445.37, except partial payment amounts collected
1 16 pursuant to section 445.36A, subsection 1 and section
1 17 435.24, subsection 6, paragraph "a", among the several
1 18 funds to which they belong according to the amount
1 19 levied for each fund, and shall apportion the
1 20 interest, fees, and costs on the taxes to the general
1 21 fund, and shall enter those amounts upon the
1 22 treasurer's cash account, and report the amounts to
1 23 the county auditor.""
