  1  1    Amend Senate File 2372, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 3 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 562A.36, subsection 1,
  1  6 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 1995, is amended to read
  1  7 as follows:
  1  8    Except as provided in this section, a landlord may
  1  9 shall not retaliate by increasing rent or decreasing
  1 10 services or by bringing or threatening to bring  an
  1 11 action for possession within one year after:"
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
