1 6 #3. Page 9, by striking lines 4 and 5 and
1 7 inserting the following: "of purchase will be issued.
1 8 2. To ensure that the process is fair to all
1 9 bidders, an individual or agent acting on behalf of
1 10 another individual shall not contract with or offer
1 11 anything of value to another individual to place a bid
1 12 on a parcel as provided in subsection 1 for the
1 13 purpose of transferring the certificate of purchase to
1 14 the contractor or offeror. An individual or agent
1 15 acting on behalf of another individual in violation of
1 16 this subsection may be disqualified by a county
1 17 treasurer from bidding at a tax sale in this state for
1 18 three years.
1 19 3. The delinquent tax liens transfers with the tax
1 20 sale certificate, whether held by the county or
1 21 purchased by an individual, through assignment or
1 22 direct purchase at the tax sale. The delinquent tax
1 23 sale lien expires when the tax sale certificate
1 24 expires."
