  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-5845, to House File
  1  2 2144, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 6 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "#   .  Page 2, line 19, by inserting after the
  1  7 word "arrangement." the following:  "For the purposes
  1  8 of this section, "physician-physician assistant team"
  1  9 means any affiliation of one or more physician
  1 10 assistant supervising physicians and one or more
  1 11 physician assistants in which the physician assistant
  1 12 has an equity interest investment, which shall not
  1 13 exceed a twenty percent ownership interest, in the
  1 14 medical practice or assets of the medical practice
  1 15 through which the physician-physician assistant team
  1 16 provides medical services.""
  1 17    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
