1 4 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 13 the

1 8 "Sec. . INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT FOR REORGANIZED
1 9 SCHOOL DISTRICTS. Notwithstanding section 257.18,
1 10 subsection 3, and section 257.27, a school district
1 11 participating in an instructional support program on
1 12 or after July 1, 1995, which reorganizes effective
1 13 July 1, 1996, may continue to participate in the
1 14 instructional support program for the budget year
1 15 beginning July 1, 1996. The percent of income surtax
1 16 imposed for the budget year beginning July 1, 1996, by
1 17 the board of directors of the school district that
1 18 reorganizes effective July 1, 1996, shall not exceed
1 19 seventeen percent."
