  1  1    Amend House File 2298, as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Section 1.  Section 135.1, subsection 4, Code
  1  5 Supplement 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    4.  "Physician" means a person licensed to practice
  1  7 medicine and surgery, osteopathic medicine and
  1  8 surgery, osteopathy, chiropractic, or podiatry, or
  1  9 optometry under the laws of this state; but a person
  1 10 licensed as a physician and surgeon shall be
  1 11 designated as a "physician" or "surgeon", a person
  1 12 licensed as an osteopathic physician and surgeon shall
  1 13 be designated as an "osteopathic physician" or
  1 14 "osteopathic surgeon", a person licensed as an
  1 15 osteopath shall be designated as an "osteopathic
  1 16 physician", a person licensed as a chiropractor shall
  1 17 be designated as a "chiropractor", and a person
  1 18 licensed as a podiatrist shall be designated as a
  1 19 "podiatric physician", and a person licensed as an
  1 20 optometrist shall be designated as an "optometrist"."
  1 21    #2.  Page 1, line 8, by striking the word and
  1 22 figure "or 151" and inserting the following:  "151, or
  1 23 154".
  1 24    #3.  Page 1, line 9, by inserting after the figure
  1 25 "151" the following:  "or 154".
  1 26    #4.  Page 1, lines 12 and 13, by striking the word
  1 27 and figure "or 151" and inserting the following:
  1 28 "151, or 154".
  1 29    #5.  Page 1, line 13, by inserting after the word
  1 30 and figure "chapter 151" the following:  "or 154".
  1 31    #6.  Page 2, line 7, by striking the word and
  1 32 figure "or 151" and inserting the following:  "151, or
  1 33 154".
  1 34    #7.  By renumbering as necessary.
