  1  1    Amend House File 2423 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 9, by striking the words "any
  1  3 taxing district" and inserting the following:  "the
  1  4 county".
  1  5    #2.  Page 1, line 12, by striking the words "taxing
  1  6 district" and inserting the following:  "county".
  1  7    #3.  Page 1, line 22, by striking the words "taxing
  1  8 district" and inserting the following:  "county".
  1  9    #4.  Page 1, by inserting after line 23 the
  1 10 following:
  1 11    "Property tax revenues collected as a result of the
  1 12 county's imposition of its tax upon the real property
  1 13 used in the operation of a racetrack or racetrack
  1 14 enclosure shall be distributed on a per capita basis
  1 15 to taxing districts located entirely or partially in
  1 16 the county.  The portion of the taxes collected that a
  1 17 taxing district will receive shall be equal to a
  1 18 fraction determined by dividing the population
  1 19 residing in the taxing district by the sum of the
  1 20 population residing in each city, school district, and
  1 21 other taxing district located in the county plus the
  1 22 population of the county.  The county treasurer shall
  1 23 pay each taxing district its share of the taxes
  1 24 collected on October 15 and April 15 of each fiscal
  1 25 year."
