  1  1    Amend House File 2423 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 2 through 23 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "amended by adding the new
  1  4 unnumbered paragraph:
  1  5    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  The county board of
  1  6 supervisors may negotiate a fee in lieu of taxes with
  1  7 a municipality to reimburse the municipality for the
  1  8 actual costs incurred by the municipality for
  1  9 providing services to the racetrack, including but not
  1 10 limited to police and fire protection."
  1 11    #2.  Title page, line 1, by striking the words "to
  1 12 the" and inserting the following:  "to charging fees
  1 13 in lieu of the".
