Page 1, line 28, by inserting after the word 1 4 "executive" the following: "or legislative". 1 5 #2. Page 2, by inserting after line 28 the 1 6 following: 1 7 "Sec. . Section 70A.28, subsection 7, Code 1 8 1995, is amended to read as follows: 1 9 7. The director of the department of personnel or, 1 10 for employees of the general assembly or of the state 1 11 board of regents, the legislative council or the state 1 12 board of regents, respectively, shall provide 1 13 procedures for notifying new state employees of the 1 14 provisions of this section and shall periodically 1 15 conduct promotional campaigns to provide similar 1 16 information toallstate employees. The information 1 17 shall include the toll-free telephone number of the 1 18 citizens' aide. 1 19 Sec. . Section 70A.28, Code 1995, is amended by 1 20 adding the following new subsection: 1 21 NEW SUBSECTION. 8. For purposes of this section, 1 22 "state employee" and "employee" includes, but is not 1 23 limited to, persons employed by the general assembly 1 24 and persons employed by the state board of regents." 1 25 #3.
