1 18 word "adolescents." the following: "Grant recipients
1 19 shall submit information to the department of human
1 20 services regarding the pregnancy rate of participants
1 21 in small-group activities for which follow-up contact
1 22 is practical. Large-group activities are exempt from
1 23 this reporting requirement.""

1 26 "Sec. . FAMILY PLANNING PROGRAMS. There is
1 27 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
1 28 department of human services for the fiscal year
1 29 beginning July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997, the
1 30 following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary,
1 31 to be used for the purpose designated:
1 32 For family planning programs:
1 33 .................................................. $ 736,840
1 34 For the purposes of this section, "family planning
1 35 programs" include those programs which provide
1 36 clinical care services including those services which
1 37 assist a client in obtaining contraceptive devices and
1 38 supplies. Clinical care services include but are not
1 39 limited to the initial examination, an annual
1 40 examination, related services including, but not
1 41 limited to, abnormal pap repeats, sexually transmitted
1 42 disease testing and treatment, and infection testing
1 43 and treatment or referral as indicated, and injectable
1 44 contraceptives. "Family planning programs" also
1 45 include family planning educational services which
1 46 include, but are not limited to, group or individual
1 47 discussions with clients informing clients of the
1 48 various types of birth control methods available and
1 49 where the various types of birth control might be
1 50 obtained."
