PAG LIN
  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-5485, to Senate File 2140,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 36 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  Section 321.285, Code 1995, is amended
  1  7 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  8    NEW SUBSECTION.  7.  Notwithstanding the imposition
  1  9 of a maximum speed limit under this section, a peace
  1 10 officer shall not issue a ticket or impose a fine or
  1 11 penalty for any speeding violation which is five miles
  1 12 per hour or less over the maximum speed limit, if the
  1 13 vehicle is being operated upon the interstate or
  1 14 primary highway system."
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
