  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-5485, to Senate File 2140,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 36 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  Section 321.299, Code 1995, is amended
  1  7 by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
  1  8    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  A vehicle shall not
  1  9 operate in the farthest lane to the left on a rural
  1 10 multilaned highway unless the vehicle is overtaking or
  1 11 passing another vehicle in accordance with this
  1 12 section or unless the vehicle is not impeding
  1 13 traffic."
  1 14    #2.  Page 2, line 38, by inserting after the word
  1 15 "highways," the following:  "delineating passing
  1 16 violations,".
  1 17    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
