  1  1    Amend House File 2422 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking everything after the enacting
  1  3 clause and inserting the following:
  1  4    "Section 1.  Section 422.45, Code Supplement 1995,
  1  5 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  50.  The gross receipts from sales
  1  7 or services rendered, furnished, or performed by the
  1  8 state fair organized under chapter 173 or a fair
  1  9 society organized under chapter 174."
  1 10    #2.  Title page, line 2, by striking the words
  1 11 "certificates issued to" and inserting the following:
  1 12 "for sales or services rendered, furnished, or
  1 13 performed by".
