  1  1    Amend House File 2409 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 9 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 524.211, subsection 5, Code
  1  5 Supplement 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    5.  An employee of the banking division, other than
  1  7 the superintendent or a member of the state banking
  1  8 board, shall not perform any services for, and shall
  1  9 not be a shareholder, member, partner, owner,
  1 10 director, officer, or employee of, any enterprise,
  1 11 person, or affiliate subject to the regulatory purview
  1 12 of the banking division."
  1 13    #2.  Page 14, by inserting after line 19 the
  1 14 following:
  1 15    "Sec.    .  Section 524.211, subsection 5, as
  1 16 amended by this Act, shall not apply to the individual
  1 17 who is serving as the superintendent of banking on
  1 18 March 1, 1996."
  1 19    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
